The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Pick 'n' Roll: Today's best NBA bets

New Jersey Nets at New York Knicks (-5, 202)

Don’t look now but the New York Knicks have suddenly found their rhythm on offense, posting more than 110 points in six of their last eight. That offensive surge helped the club to wins in six of those matchups, while they’ve covered the number seven times over that stretch.

Now the Knicks are back to .500 at 9-9 on the year and they have co-captains Amar’e Stoudemire and Raymond Felton to thank.

Stoudemire dropped 37 points while adding 15 rebounds and seven assists in New York’s 125-116 win over the Detroit Pistons while playing on a sprained ankle. Felton chipped in with 23 points and 11 assists while battling the flu.

"He's great - just everything from the right thing to say at timeouts," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said of Stoudemire. "Just his persona and aura is really good. That's what a leader has to do. Never be down or cross with anybody and keep leading. Raymond was sick so he was real quiet on the bench and [Amar'e] filled the void. That's what great leadership is and it's not about making or missing last shots."

New Jersey averages a little less than 93 points per game and that won’t be enough Tuesday.

Pick: Knicks

Boston Celtics at Cleveland Cavaliers (+6.5, 194.5)

When you’ve been around as long as Shaquille O’Neal and have accomplished as much as he has, it only makes sense that he gets a free pass every now and then.

O’Neal missed Monday’s practice after he apparently got the times mixed up, but coach Doc Rivers says he won’t discipline Shaq.

"If you have a history of [missing practice], we deal with it," Rivers told reporters. "It's a human game, it always will be. I don't have a set rule for one guys or two guys. Each guy is an individual basis, is what I'm saying. You deal with it that way. You put money in the bank and, if you're a guy that tends to use up your money, then [the leash] is a little shorter."

That’s why Rivers is such a good fit with this veteran team – he gets it. The Celtics have won three straight but have only covered once over their last five. A good home date with the sputtering Cleveland Cavaliers should fix that.

Pick: Celtics

College Funds: Today's best NCAAB bets

Georgetown Hoyas at Missouri Tigers (2, 145)

This clash between Big East and Big 12 is a complete contrast of styles: The Hoyas’ slowed-down Princeton offense versus the Tigers’ up-tempo “40 minutes of hell”.

Georgetown is 6-0 (4-1 ATS) and coming off victories over North Carolina State and UNC Asheville last week, relying heavily on the long ball. The Hoyas are sixth in the nation in 3-point shooting (44.4 percent) and buried 13 of 25 attempts from beyond the arc against the Bulldogs, including seven triples from guard Austin Freeman.

He tied the programs single-game record for 3-pointers made and finished with 32 points in the 87-72 win.

“I wanted to be aggressive, take good shots and not force anything,” Freeman told reporters. “I hit a couple and felt like I was able to take more shots and make them. When you're open and your teammates find you, you just have to knock the shot down.”

Missouri is 5-0 to start the season, but hasn’t defended well on the perimeter. The Tigers are allowing opponents to hit for better than 34 percent from outside and have allowed their last two opponents to hit for almost 50 percent beyond the arc (12 for 25).

Pick: Georgetown

Ohio State Buckeyes at Florida State Seminoles (4.5, 133)

The Buckeyes are depending on some untested talents to fill in around their seasoned veterans. So far, that confidence in the youngsters is playing off.

Star freshman Jared Sullinger is grabbing most of the headlines in Columbus but other underclassmen are stepping up their game as well. First-year forward Deshaun Thomas added 19 points off the bench in OSU’s 66-45 win over Miami (Ohio) Friday while fellow reserve Aaron Craft chipped in with five points

Thomas’ efforts earned his Big Ten Frosh of the Week honors. He is averaging just under 15 points per game along with 5.4 rebounds a night. He’s scored in double figures in three straight games heading into Tuesday.

"I came into practice and worked really hard and came into this game and played really hard," Thomas told reporters after scoring 17 points versus UNC Wilmington. "I'm just doing me. I score and I put the ball in the basket."

The Noles will have enough trouble stopping Sullinger and the Buckeyes veterans, leaving Thomas primed for another big night off the pine.

Pick: Ohio State

Ice picks: Today's best NHL bets

Tampa Bay Lightning at Toronto Maple Leafs (-120, 5.5)

Steven Stamkos was born in Markam, Ontario and likes nothing better than beating up on the local Leafs. The 20-year-old leads the league in goals and his 39 points puts him behind only Sidney Crosby’s 40 heading into Monday night’s action. That has to concern the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Stamkos has 13 points in nine games lifetime against the Leafs and heads into Tuesday’s date with 19 points in his last 12.

“It will be an unbelievable challenge,” Toronto defenseman Luke Schenn told reproters. “Since the start of the season and probably since the Olympic break last year, he has probably been the hottest player in the league. He gets to his spots and scores goals just about every night.

“We’ll have to be good as a five-man unit. Not one guy is going to shut him down in particular, it will have to be everyone chipping in.”

Meanwhile, the Leafs, who are averaging only 2.2 goals per game, are desperate enough up front to promote rookie Nazem Kadri to center the top line even though he was playing in the minors 10 days ago.

Pick: Lightning

St. Louis Blues at Chicago Blackhawks (-150, 5.5)

The circus is finally on its way out of Chicago, meaning the Blackhawks are back in town for their first home game since Nov. 14.

Chicago went 4-2 on the road swing with impressive wins over Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Anaheim, but more importantly for the long run, finally seem to be coming together a bit. Trips to Las Vegas and California tend to have that impact on teams.

The Blackhawks aren’t trying to run and gun everybody out of the rink anymore, instead concentrating on puck possession and limiting the shots their goaltenders face. That’s been important because veteran netminder Marty Turco looks a little long in the tooth already. Corey Crawford has started three of the club’s last four games and won all three, so there are rumblings of a goalie controversy already.

St. Louis battled hard in a home-and-home against the Stars over the weekend, but just can’t get its offense going. The Blues rank 24th in overall scoring while their power play continues to sputter with a 14.3 percent success rate.

Not good numbers against a Blackhawks team that’s finally getting it together.

Pick: Blackhawks

Bettors' best friend: Tuesday's wagering tips

Lines to watch

The Cleveland Cavaliers opened as 7-point underdogs against the Boston Celtics but are now listed at +6.5.

The Sacramento Kings opened as 2.5-point underdogs against the Indiana Pacers with the total at 191.5. The Kings are now listed at +3 with the total at 190.5.

Who’s hot

NBA: New York Knicks have won and covered in six of their last seven.

NBA: Indiana Pacers have covered the number in five of their last six.

NHL: Atlanta Thrashers have won five straight.

Who’s not

NBA: Boston Celtics have covered in just one of their last five games.

NHL: Nashville Predators have lost four in a row.

NCAAB: Syracuse Orange has dropped five straight against the number.

Key stat

107.6 – average points per game the San Antonio Spurs have managed over their last five contests. The Spurs have played over the posted total in each of those games and have a 11-5 over/under record heading into Tuesday’s game with the Golden State Warriors, who give up almost 106 points per game this season.

Injury that shouldn’t be overlooked

Rajon Rondo (foot), Boston Celtics – Rondo practiced Monday and said that his hamstring feels a lot better. Now if he could just get his plantar fasciitis issue under control. He’s still expected to play Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but may be limited.

Game of the day

No. 14 Georgetown Hoyas at No. 8 Missouri Tigers (+2, 145)

Notable quotable

"We're playing Pau too many minutes [and we] don't have a backup for either he or Lamar right now, so that's a real problem. We put all our eggs in the basket of Andrew coming back and we hoped he'd be back by this time, by Nov. 15, by Thanksgiving time, by [our last] road trip, etc. We don't know when Andrew is coming back." – Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson on waiting for Andrew Bynum’s return to the lineup.

Notes and tips

Jason Thompson was anointed the new starting power forward for the Sacramento Kings, sending Carl Landry to the bench, while DeMarcus Cousins was kicked out of Monday’s practice by coach Paul Westphal. Details have yet to surface about what happened with Cousins, but the Kings have lost 10 of their last 11 and sit at 4-11 against the number this season. They play host to Indiana Tuesday.

Wesley Matthews will start at small forward for the Portland Trailblazers Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, taking Nicolas Batum’s spot in the starting five. Matthews may have a chance to stick, too. He averaged 22 points, five rebounds and two steals in the three games he filled in for Brandon Roy.

Chicago Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa had to be helped off the ice after he collided with teammate Nick Boynton during Monday’s practice. Boynton was fine, but the team did not issue a statement about Hossa’s status following the workout. Hossa has eight goals and 18 points in 21 games this season.

Sheds One-a-Day Tuesday
One-a-Day record now sits at 25-3 following Pitt win on Monday.

Tuesday Play:

Atlanta - Colorado Over 5.5 goals -130

I don't really like taking overs these days (all 5 games Under on Monday) but how does this one stay under? Both teams average over 3 goals both for and against. O/U records are 15 overs to 8 unders for Atlanta and 16 overs to 6 unders for Colorado. The stats only say over and I'm a little surprised its not 6 goals. Atlanta's recent unders have probably influenced that but those were against Boston and Montreal - large Under teams.
